TeamSpeak 2 Instructions
For
sgsterling.com
TeamSpeak server
sgsterling.com
operates a TeamSpeak2
Server, primarily to support northwest flying enthusiasts
playing Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator online. TeamSpeak
allows players to talk with each other as they fight in simulated
battles. Being able to coordinate the games and "smack talk" during
play adds much to experience.
These instructions guide new folks on setting up to use the
sgsterling.com TeamSpeak2 server.
- You will need a pair of
headphones with a headphone-mounted boom microphone. These are made
specifically for online game playing. They have the proper connectors
to hook into your computer's audio system. Using computer speakers and
computer microphone IS NOT ACCEPTABLE-- it causes audio feedback.
Headphones with built-in microphone isolate the audio so it
is
not fed back into the microphone. These computer gaming headphones are
available at Wal-Mart and Best Buy. Many other places too.
- You will need to download
TeamSpeak 2 client and install it. You don't need the server
software, you will need the CLIENT software. It is available
at
http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads&archive=1
OR
http://tss.sgsterling.com/ts2_client_rc2_2032.exe
Download it onto your desktop or a temporary download directory of your
